If you want off the grid, this is it. No tv, phone or fridge. Wonderful views. No AC, but you don’t need it. The folks who work here are amazing.  Miguel, Erika and Jorge have been the best. We had 2 days of Coatis parading for morning coffee.

🦥♥️ Hört nicht auf die schlechten Bewertungen! Dieses Hotel überzeugt durch sein Dschungel Feeling. Das Zimmer hat eine Holzvertäfelung, einen schönen Ausblick in die Natur und das Badezimmer ist sauber und die Dusche ist super. Anfangs war ich verunsichert aufgrund der schlechten Bewertungen, die ich gelesen habe aber alles war ganz anders. Wir haben nicht gefroren, weil es eine extra Kuscheldecke im Zimmer gibt. Unsere Koffer wurden automatisch durch das Personal ins Zimmer gebracht. Es wäre aber auch kein Problem gewesen, dies selbst zu tun, da alle Wege gepflastert oder betoniert sind. Natürlich gibt es Zimmer, die weiter oben gelegen sind, wodurch der Transport ein wenig anstrengender sein kann. Dies ist aber auch kein All Inclusive Hotel am Strand, sondern eine schöne Gelegenheit Natur um sich herum zu erleben. Wir hatten gestern Nacht eine Eule direkt vor unserem Zimmer und konnten diese beobachten. Außerdem ist das Hotel nah an der Hauptstraße, weshalb man alles gut erreicht: Bäckerei, Restaurants, Supermärkte etc. Man hat die Möglichkeit im Hotel nebenan zu essen oder man geht einfach die Straße runter, was auch günstiger ist. Das Personal ist super freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einziger Kritikpunkt: etwas Verkehrslärm und dünne Wände, aber mit seinen Nachbarn kann man auch Glück haben. Kleiner Tipp: bei Personen die schlechte Bewertungen hinterlassen auch mal die vergangenen Bewertungen lesen. Manche Leute schreiben grundsätzlich nur negatives.

Hotelzimmer mitten im Dschungel. Zimmer sind einfach, aber völlig ausreichend.  Sie sind hellhörig, man kann den Nachbarn sprechen hören, es gibt einen kleinen Trail um das Hotel, dort sieht man viele Tiere, Das Personal ist sehr nett und das Frühstück gibt es im ca. 5 Min. entfernten Hotel, welches bergauf erreichbar ist und einen tolles Ausblick hat. Fußläufig ca. 5 Min. von der Stadt entfernt.

Quaint but comfortable with exceptional front desk help.Lovely setting. Amazing breakfast, included! We arrived very late on a very rainy night. They had two young men there to welcome us and take our bags to our room.

We had the best time in Monteverde! The staff, including Jorge, went above and beyond making our trip special. The rooms were the perfect little rustic cabins in the jungle. It was so peaceful falling asleep to the sound of the wildlife and rain. The lodge was centrally located to Santa Elena and made it easy to get to other destinations. Our only complaint was the walls were pretty thin and we could hear our neighbors.

If you want to feel immersed in nature while having great access to downtown La Senta, this is the place for you!

This is a very cool jungle lodge! It feel authentic with wood rooms and while we were initially bummed about no restaurant being onsite, they more than made up for it by supplying breakfast and a happy hour at the fig restaurant at their partner hotel. See the sunset photo for the incredible view!

If you are a nature enthusiast, birder, hiker this is the place for you! And if you arent, why are you in monteverde???

In all seriousness, this is incredible and the fact that it has trails onsite makes it even better!
